Letter from Zone ODP
Thank you for trying out last spring at Johansen HS with Zac and I. Sorry that it has taken so long to send you "the email" we promissed but ODP couldn't get the cadet program going last summer/fall for '95U.
Just to bring you up to date, USA Waterpolo had wanted to get the cadets (last year was '95U) going in phase 1 but did not and hopefully will get the cadet training teams going in the coming spring of 2010 however this is now for '96 and '97 kids.
If you are a '95 (born in '95), we ask that you re-tryout with the '94s (Youth Team) this November 22, 2009. If you paid last May at tryout, you will not have to pay again for this tryout/training session. This is the first and only tryout date for this team. Should you make the training team, you would need to pay the ODP fee which for phase 2 is $800 as the training is now 60 hours vs. 30 hours in phase 1 last year. Payment plans and grant applications are available should you need some assistance. Please check online on the USAWP website under the ODP logo.
The youth boys ('94 & U) will be at Rio Americano HS at 9:30am - 4pm with Zac Koerner (Head coach) and Tracy Stapleton (assistant coach).
The girls will be at Tokay with Nate Varosh (Head coach) and Robert Elrod (assistant coach) at 7:30am-4pm.
