Central California Zone Red Card Policy
Any player or coach ejected from a USA Water Polo sanctioned contest for the actof brutality or by receiving a red-card will be reported by the Head Official to the Central California Water Polo Chair within a 24 hour period. The site host and head official of the event shall ensure that the appropriate penalty be assessed on site when possible.
EJECTIONS
First ejection
Any player or coach ejected from a contest or scrimmage for the act of brutality or by receiving a red card based on conduct will be ineligible for the next USA Water Polo contest.
Second ejection
Any player or coach ejected from a contest or scrimmage for the act of brutality or by receiving a red card based on conduct will be ineligible for the next two USA Water Polo
contests.
Third ejection
Any player or coach ejected from a contest or scrimmage for the act of brutality or by receiving a red card based on conduct will be ineligible for any USW Water Polo contest for the next 365 days.
Appeals Procedure
An appeal of the ineligibility of a player or coach may be made, in writing, through the player or coach’s club administrator to the Central California Water Polo Chair or his designees for consideration of reinstatement. The Chair and his designee will convey results to all clubs and individuals involved. The Central California Water Polo Board must review any reinstatement appeal submitted.
Appeals Committee
The Central California Board may commission an Appeals Committee to review any coach or player appeal of a game removal violation. The Committee shall consist of one or more individuals not on the current Board who have served in a capacity that serves the best interest of Central California Water Polo. The Zone Board shall use the input of the Committee in making a final decision of any appeal.
Any coach or player not satisfied with the decision of the Central California Water Polo Board may appeal to USA Water Polo
